About Hastings

Few sports offer as much excitement or international appeal as thoroughbred racing. That’s one reason Hastings Racecourse has been capturing the imagination of Vancouverites and visitors alike since 1889. Featuring live thoroughbred racing and simulcast racing from many of the world’s most prestigious tracks, Hastings is a legendary location with spectacular mountain and waterfront racing views. Enjoy a delicious meal at one of the five restaurants within Hastings or try your luck at the casino slots.

Recently, Hastings has been making the conversion from an exclusive racing site to a multi-purpose entertainment venue. As the entertainment industry is accelerating in Vancouver, Hastings welcomes the community to congregate, collaborate and celebrate on its unique grounds, set against the Pacific waters and stunning mountains. Hastings is excited to host Albatross Music Festival in its kick-off year and invites everyone to join in on the fun. Hastings Racecourse is Bred For Excitement!
